Terms of use

Astra Sonora is harmonic ear training on real recordings, made and run by Sandro Blum, 5200 Brugg, Switzerland ([email protected]). By using it you agree to these terms.

The app

The app is free to use. It is offered as it is, without any warranty that it is free of errors, always available, or suited to a particular purpose. Features may change, and the app may be discontinued; if it is, signed-in players will be told in good time where possible.

Your account

An account is optional and personal. Keep access to the email address you sign in with, since sign-in links are sent there. Accounts used to disrupt the app or other players may be closed. You can have your account deleted at any time (see Privacy).

The music

The recordings belong to their artists and are used under the Creative Commons licences named with each song (CC BY or CC BY-SA). Each song in the app credits its artist and links to its source and licence. Your use of a recording outside the app is governed by its licence, not by these terms.

The app's own content

The app's design, artwork, texts and code are © Sandro Blum. The chord annotations are provided for learning within the app.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, liability for any damage arising from the use of the app is excluded, except for intent and gross negligence.

Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
